EXPORT TO CHINA

Export to China

Step 1 - You sold your pigeon...

Congratulations! You have sold your pigeon for a certain amount. Let's take an example: 1,000 euros.
Note: your customer no longer pays directly to you.

Step 2 - You inform us...

Once the deal is done, don't charge the customer yet. The reason is what follows... You contact Xinge Transport as soon as possible. We will do everything we can to help you as soon as possible!
You send an email to info@xingetransport.com with the contact details of your customer and the amount for which you sold your pigeons. We will then immediately contact your customer. Xinge Transport has several Chinese-speaking employees, so language is not a problem...

Step 3 - Your client have to pay...

Your customer will receive an invitation to pay from the import agent in China. This invitation will consist of the following elements:
- the amount that he has to pay you, in other words the value of the pigeon.
- the transport costs that he must pay.
- the taxes he has to pay to the Chinese government services.

Step 4 - Your payment has been received...

As soon as your customer has transferred the payment to the import agent, you will receive a notification that your payment has been received. From now on, the logistics chain comes into effect.

Step 5 - your booking is now confirmed...

As soon as the payment has been received by Xinge Transport, your reservation is final.
You will be informed where you can deliver your pigeon or pigeons.

Step 6 - your payment

When the pigeon arrives at Xinge Transport, it will inform the import agent that the payment of the value of the pigeons must be transferred to Europe. As soon as the money arrives in our company account, this money will be transferred to your personal account (or if you are a company, your company account). Xinge Transport keeps the printouts of these transactions for the control of the Chinese government authorities.

Step 7 - start quarantine Europe

All pigeons from all sellers are consolidated in 1 transport. This means that your pigeons do not travel to China separately, but in group. This group contains pigeons from other sellers. This happens on average once a month. The quarantine in Europe is at least 30 days. Your pigeons are tested here for all kinds of diseases to ensure that no sick pigeon enters China.

Step 8 - The airplane is waiting for you...

When the pigeons have completed their quarantine, they can board the next plane to China.

Step 9 - start quarantine China

On arrival, the Chinese customs go into action to check all payments that have been made for this group of pigeons. It is extremely important that the correct values are indicated. If not, this is where the story ends for the people who didn't get it right. If everything has been approved, the pigeons can move on to the approved quarantine station of our import agent in China. The pigeons will stay there for 30 days and they are also subjected to some health tests.

Step 10 - your client will receive your pigeons...

After going through all these steps, your customer will be able to receive his pigeons. Keep in mind that China is huge and that any domestic transport will have to be made possible. It is not always the case that we deliver to home. Usually these are at places where your customer can collect his pigeons, in mutual consultation. We always try to arrange this close to your customer's place of residence.

How much does your customer actually have to pay extra?

If you want to inform your customer about the import taxes, it is important to know what you are talking about. That's why we put everything together

VALUE

The value of your pigeon is what the customer paid for it. But the customs value of a pigeon does not only consist of the price that your buyer is willing to pay for his pigeon, but also of a part of the logistical costs that have to be made to get your pigeon into China. The value therefore consists of the price that was paid for your pigeon plus € 150.00.

Why only € 150.00 and not the full freight costs? Since this is only the taxable amount within the total freight price, only this amount is subject to import taxes.

In the example on the previous page, we assumed that you sold a pigeon for €1,000.00. The value for customs is therefore not only € 1,000.00, but must be increased by € 150.00.

So the total value indicated is € 1,150.00

THE IMPORT DUTIES

The import taxes levied on the import of pigeons are 20%. In other words, your customer must pay 20% of the total value of the pigeons (being the value that was paid to you + € 150.00). In the given example, the import tax would therefore amount to € 1,150.00 x 20% = € 230.00

TOTAL FREIGHT COSTS

The total freight costs amount to € 300.00 per pigeon, including all logistic movements of your pigeon + quarantine + testing. Please note: domestic transport is not included.

Calculate how much should be paid...

(1) Value of the pigeon

(2) Import taxes =

[ (value of the pigeon + 150 euros) x 20%]

(3) transport costs = 300 euros

TOTAL: (1) + (2) + (3)

Example: you sell your pigeon for 1,000 euros. Your customer in China will then have to pay the following amounts for this:

Value = 1,000 euros
Import taxes = 230 euros
Freight costs = 300 euros
Total to pay =1,000 euros + 230 euros + 300 euros = 1,530 euros
